T5 – Knowledge Transfer

Knowledge transferTheme Leader: Jacco Konijn (UvA)

Theme 5 ensures the cross-fertilisation and knowledge transfer of new technologies, best practices, approaches and policies of the Research Infrastructures by generating training material for Research Infrastructure personnel, build platforms and training material for (scientific) users of the Research Infrastructures, set up a specific training program for Environmental Research Infrastructure managers and facilitate inter-Research Infrastructure knowledge transfer via a dedicated cross-domain staff exchange program; Besides this focus on staff and persons directly related to Research Infrastructures, this theme will also reach out and develop training material for secondary school students and teachers, to introduce them in an attractive way with issues involved with environmental research and the role of the Research Infrastructures within this research.

WP15 – Training, e-Learning and courses

This WP has as main objective to organize and develop concrete training programs. It focusses on the development of training modules, e-learning environments and specific courses for the main stakeholders in the Environmental Research Infrastructure community, being theResearch Infrastructure operators (technical, administrative, management), the scientific and possible industry users of the Research Infrastructures and special outreach to secondary school students.

WP16 – Staff Exchange

The main objective of this WP is to facilitate the exchange of knowledge among staff working in Research Infrastructures or related to the implementation of new Research Infrastructures. This will help disseminating the know-how of Research Infrastructure specialists, and get practical hands-on experience on the operation procedures.
This WP will:
1) facilitate the exchange of knowledge among staff working in Research Infrastructures or related to the implementation of new Research Infrastructures,
